AAUA/MDUA is one of the premier amateur umpire associations in Central Maryland. We officiate baseball of all ages from 8u to adult leagues. We are the sole provider for all of the public high school baseball games in Anne Arundel County and most of the over fourteen year old amateur baseball games in Anne Arundel County Maryland.

We take our trade seriously from 8u-College summer ball:
Our umpires go through a rigorous yearly rules and on-field training and evaluation. Each umpire in the association must pass the NFHS Rules test to work any of our assigned games.
AAUA was founded by Frank "Jocko" Svoboda and has been providing quality umpires for amateur baseball in central Maryland since 1977.
In 2012 AAUA merged with MDUA and continues to supply umpires for many of the same leagues/teams.

Maryland Collegiate Baseball League (MCBL), American Legion and Chesapeake Men's Senior Baseball League

AAUA offers an extensive training that starts every January that will prepare you to be on the field as early as March!
